HackerEarth uses several anti-cheating measures during employer assessments and coding challenges:
- Tab switch counter — logs every time you navigate away from the assessment tab and reports the count to recruiters
- Browser focus detection — triggers alerts when the HackerEarth window loses focus to another application
- Copy-paste tracking — monitors clipboard events and flags large code blocks pasted from external sources
- Webcam proctoring — records video during assessments for employer review
- Full-screen enforcement — requires the test to run in full-screen mode, blocking access to other windows
How UFOlee Bypasses HackerEarth Detection
UFOlee doesn't trigger any of HackerEarth's monitoring because it operates at a fundamentally different level than browser tabs or desktop applications:
