What TestGorilla Monitors
TestGorilla is a pre-employment assessment platform. Its anti-cheating is lighter than exam lockdowns but still logs a few things employers review:
- Webcam snapshots — periodic still photos rather than continuous video
- Full-screen tracking — logs each time you leave full-screen or switch windows
- IP and device logging — records your location and device fingerprint
- Question randomisation — shuffles questions and options between candidates
- Time-per-question limits — short timers designed to prevent looking answers up
Why Alt-Tab and Browser Extensions Fail on TestGorilla
TestGorilla's main signal is the full-screen-exit / tab-switch log an employer sees on your report. Alt-tabbing to ChatGPT lights that up on every question. UFOlee never removes focus from the test tab — the AI lives in an overlay above it — so no full-screen-exit events are recorded, and answers are typed rather than pasted so they don't stand out.
How UFOlee Works with TestGorilla
Keep the test in full-screen the whole time and let UFOlee work above it:
- Launch UFOlee and log into your preferred AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) before starting the test
- Open your TestGorilla assessment — UFOlee runs invisibly in the background
- Press Ctrl+Shift+S to reveal UFOlee's stealth browser overlay on top of TestGorilla
- Press Ctrl+Shift+A to screenshot the question and automatically attach it to your AI chat
- Read the AI-generated solution, then highlight the answer or code you need
- Press Ctrl+Shift+F — UFOlee auto-types it into TestGorilla using native hardware keystrokes
- Press Ctrl+Shift+S to hide UFOlee and review your work
