AI Helper for ExamSoft & Examplify

Examplify locks down your whole desktop and runs offline. UFOlee is a native overlay that launches over the locked app — no internet needed, no process Examplify's block-list recognises.

How ExamSoft (Examplify) Locks Your Machine

ExamSoft's Examplify is one of the strictest lockdowns — used for bar exams, the NCLEX, and medical boards. It runs a secure desktop app rather than a browser:

Why Alt-Tab and Browser Extensions Fail on ExamSoft

Examplify's lockdown is designed to block other apps from starting during the exam and to recognise known helper processes. Ordinary AI tools and Electron apps appear on that block-list and are killed on launch. UFOlee is a ~450 KB native Win32 binary with no window, no taskbar entry and no recognised process signature, so it stays running underneath the lockdown — and because it uses your own AI login, it doesn't depend on the exam machine's disabled network.

How UFOlee Works with ExamSoft

Because Examplify runs offline, connect UFOlee to your AI before the exam downloads and keep the overlay ready:

  1. Launch UFOlee and log into your preferred AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) before starting the test
  2. Open your ExamSoft assessment — UFOlee runs invisibly in the background
  3. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to reveal UFOlee's stealth browser overlay on top of ExamSoft
  4. Press Ctrl+Shift+A to screenshot the question and automatically attach it to your AI chat
  5. Read the AI-generated solution, then highlight the answer or code you need
  6. Press Ctrl+Shift+F — UFOlee auto-types it into ExamSoft using native hardware keystrokes
  7. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to hide UFOlee and review your work

FAQ

ExamSoft + UFOlee

Does Examplify kill UFOlee on launch like other apps?

No. Examplify's block-list targets known helper and virtual-machine processes. UFOlee is a ~450 KB native Win32 binary with no visible window, no taskbar entry and no recognised signature, so it is not on the block-list and keeps running beneath the lockdown.

Examplify runs offline — how does UFOlee reach the AI?

UFOlee uses its own network connection, separate from the locked exam app. Log into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini in UFOlee before the exam and keep the overlay ready; the exam machine's disabled network doesn't affect UFOlee.

Will ExamMonitor's recording show UFOlee?

The overlay is on your screen but you can hide it instantly with Ctrl+Shift+S between questions, and enable click-through so you interact with the exam beneath it. ExamMonitor review focuses on your face and behaviour — keep interactions natural.

Can UFOlee type answers into Examplify?

Yes. Highlight the AI answer and press Ctrl+Shift+F to type it into the answer field with hardware keystrokes — no clipboard, which Examplify blocks anyway.
