What Proctorio Records During an Exam
Proctorio is an automated (AI-only) proctoring extension. It doesn't use live humans during the test — it records everything and flags "suspicious" behaviour afterward:

Alt-tabbing to ChatGPT instantly triggers Proctorio's focus-loss flag, and the switch is timestamped in the review report your instructor sees. Browser extensions and second tabs are visible to Proctorio's own extension APIs. Copy-pasting a large block flags Proctorio's paste detection.
